Born in 1954 in Guiyang，Guizhou Province，was graduated from Sculpture Department of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. Certificated with Senior Industrial Artist and City-Sculpture Creation Qualification，he served in City-Sculpture Studio of Guizhou Province and dedicated to sculpture creation. As an influenced sculptor in Guizhou，Sun acted as an associator of China Artists Association，director of China Sculpture Society，executive director of the Artists’Association of Guizhou Province，secretary-general of the Sculpture Committee of Guizhou Province，commissioner of City-Sculpture Construction and Instruction Committee of Guizhou Province，visiting professor of Guizhou University. His works are distinguished by their natural and inornate folk lifeway with passion and strength.
